Our state of the art ultrasound machine allows us to have a look inside our patient’s internal organs in a very safe and non-invasive way. We can see the structural changes and blood flow of the abdomen as well as in the heart. It provides a very unique information, you may even say “inside information”, to our veterinary surgeons. Together with other diagnostic information such as physical examination findings, laboratory tests and radiography, the ultrasound findings make us understand more about our patient’s illness. This leads to prompt and accurate treatments. Once again more lives are saved. It is as simple as that.
