Dr Shevaun qualified as a vet in 1994 from the National University of Ireland. She moved to Hong Kong in 1998, and has been dedicated to providing the best possible care for companion animals since then. She completed post graduate studies in Internal Medicine with the University of Sydney in 1999, and is currently studying for Membership to the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine. She works with a comprehensive approach, attention to detail and thorough client communication, while always placing the welfare of the patient first. Dr Shevaun is experienced & competent in all aspects of internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, as well as basic orthopaedic surgery for dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs and hamsters. Through experience, she learned both the wonders and the limitations of Western Medicine and therefore undertook the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine in order to be able to provide a more comprehensive approach to her cases. She is an IVAS certified veterinary acupuncturist since 2013 and completed a Diploma in Acupuncture in 2015
