Dr Tint graduated from Burma (now known as Myanmar) in 1984. He has worked in Burma, Australia and Hong Kong as a veterinary surgeon. He received Master of Veterinary Studies degree from Murdoch University of Australia in small animal (dogs and cats) medicine and surgery in 1999. He has completed post graduate study in small animal ophthalmology in 2005 from the Center for Veterinary Learning, University of Sydney, Australia. He was admitted to Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists as a member by examination in small animal internal medicine in 2001. He is also a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, UK since 1998. At the beginning of 2011, he successfully passed the board certification examination in the USA and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. As the result he is recognized as a specialist in canine and feline practice. He is an honorary senior fellow of the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the Melbourne University, Australia.
Dr Tint has been working in Hong Kong since 1998 and looking after many dogs and cats with severe illnesses and injuries. In addition to his internal medicine skills, he is known for his interest in surgery. He can perform complicated soft tissue, orthopedic and spinal surgeries and has a lot of experience in these areas.
When he is not busy working (that is, if he is not working at the clinic or for the clinic at home) or busy organising something for the Hong Kong Veterinary Association or busy doing something for the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong or busy studying something new, he enjoys reading, music, eating what his wife , Dr Nina , cooks and walking out and about with Dr Nina and their children, Lecter & Pocket.
