As the result he is recognized as a specialist in canine and feline practice. He is an honorary senior fellow of the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the Melbourne University, Australia.

When he is not busy working (that is, if he is not working  at the clinic or for the clinic at home) or busy organising something for the Hong Kong Veterinary Association or busy doing something for the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong or busy studying something new,  he enjoys reading, music, eating what his wife , Dr Nina , cooks and walking out and about with Dr Nina and their children, Lecter & Pocket.
